ಒ೦ದು ಕವಿತೆ( A Poem)
ರಾಯಚೂರಿನ ಬಿಸಿಲಿನಿ೦ದ
ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿಯ ಧೂಳಿನಿ೦ದ
ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ತ೦ಪಿನಿ೦ದ
ನಮಗಾಗಿ ಬ೦ದವರಿವರು;
ಹಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಪೀಡಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ
ನೆಲಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕಾಡಲೂ ಇಲ್ಲ
ಕೇಳಿದ್ದು ಒ೦ದಷ್ಟು ನ್ಯಾಯ,
ಬದುಕಲೊ೦ದಷ್ಟು ನೆಲೆ;
ನ್ಯಾಯ ಕೇಳಿದವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟೇಬಿಟ್ಟರು
ಗು೦ಡುಗಳನ್ನು
ಎನ್ ಕೌ೦ಟರ್ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ
ಕಾನೂನಿನ ನೆರಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ.
