MASUM from its inception has been an activist centric organization having zeal and passion for its cause; Torture, as primary concern. MASUM has worked with dedicated activists having clarity about human rights during the past years. MASUM is the abbreviated form of Banglar Manabadhikar Suraksha Mancha. Organization and is based in West Bengal, India and was established in year 1997, just before the 50th Anniversary year of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Currently the organization is going to receive financial support from UN under the United Nations Voluntary Fund for Victims of Torture for medical, psychological, legal and social rehabilitation of torture victims. The organization also seeks to address socio-economic issues of underprivileged sections of the society with a rights based approach.
To facilitate the same we are urgently looking for a professional activist having command in English writing, making reports, proposal writing and budgeting, programme implementation, evaluation and periodical report making to the funding agencies.
Any person having above mentioned acumen with societal commitment and is ready to work from our Srirampur (Hooghly) office can apply directly with his/her resume to us. All other aspects are negotiable.
